As announced at last year’s show and, following the notice in our Programme, the change of venue from Calderhead High School has been forced upon us by the demolition of the current school and the building of a new one, a process which will take up to three years. After much research we decided to stage this year’s show in the Brian Duguid Auditorium, of the newly refurbished and extensively renovated Howden Park Centre in Livingston. This is a modern theatre which can accommodate an audience of 292 in very comfortable raked seating. It is fully accessible and offers bar and eating facilities in modern, stylish, comfortable surroundings. You can find out much more about our new venue, including directions on how to get there, by visiting the Howden Park website www.howdenparkcentre.co.uk
The Howden Park Centre will be handling the booking of tickets for our show and you can either book online, utilising the website address in the previous paragraph (£2.20 online transaction charge applies), phone the Box Office on 01506 777666 or visit Howden Park and buy your tickets directly over the counter. Tickets, priced £12, with Concessions £8 - Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday will go on sale from 23 August and it would be advisable to book early to obtain the numbered seat of your choice and to avoid disappointment. You should bear in mind that the show is being advertised throughout West Lothian and the Howden Park venue is well patronised. If you need advice about the purchase of tickets please contact Sandra Denham (01501 822332) or Ann McCann (01501 821391)
The Group is very conscious and extremely grateful for the way our audiences have loyally supported us so well over a long number of years in Shotts. We sincerely hope, that in spite of the change of location you will continue to support us by coming to see our 60th Anniversary show in this splendid new theatre in Livingston.
